Weeks 3 & 4 (Jul 18-29)
MUSIC: With their joyful gospel music, Sylvia St. James & the St. James Singers will lift your spirits and get you clapping your hands! You’ll be inspired to find gospel music in your own neighborhood.
ART: Get into the gospel spirit – paint pictures, make a beaded necklace and much more.
IRISH IN LA
Weeks 5 & 6 (Aug 1-12)
MUSIC: Irish music is alive and well in L.A.! Ken O’Malley belts out a feisty blend of traditional and new Irish folk music. His passionate stories of his homeland will delight you with their humor and joy as Irish step dancers enliven the party.
ART: Explore Irish heritage – create a sculpture, make a beaded painting and much more.

I attended one of these concerts with young children while working at a day camp once. It was amazing. The concerts encourage dancing and singing along but won't necessarily be right for toddlers who want to wander around a lot. The art activities, I think, are for ages three and up.
