We just read the book The Wonderful Towers of Watts, all about Simon Rodia and the Watts Towers. My kids really like the idea of visiting. Hubby and I have been there before. Adults do have to pay ($7 a pop), but kids 12 and under are free, and the arts center currently has an exhibit of African art, too. Has anybody ever gone with kids?
