Coldwater Canyon Park

Another great summer trip is to visit Coldwater Canyon Park, which my kids refer to as "the creek park." The kids can play in the creek, play catch, throw a frisbee or just run around. You can spread out a blanket and have a picnic lunch--lots of shade all around. There is also an enclosed playground (w/sand) for before or after.

It is off of Sunset and Rexford/Beverly Dr.

Sundays can get a little crowded, so go early!
Street parking is in front, to the left as you approach from the south.
