Let's kick out the hoodlums who hang out at Robertson Park on the weekend (aka people bringing drugs and/or weapons to the premises) and get decent equipment for our kids' use! I've been doing some research about how to do this, and it should be doable. We could install 24 hour surveillance cameras, get donations for equipment and landscaping materials, etc. As a first step, I sent emails to our neighborhood council and to Councilman Koretz.

If you have first-hand experiences of illegal activity at the park, avoid the park because of safety concerns, or have ideas about how to make the park better, please send an email. It'll only take a couple minutes of your time, and think about how great it would be to be able to walk to the park on a long summer-time Shabbos without trekking really far into Beverly Hills or Beverlywood.
