Remember, today's outing will be IY"H at the Korean Friendship Bell. There's an interactive map at the bottom of this page: http://www.sanpedro.net/panoramas/korean_bell.htm . We'll be flying kites on the windy hill there. There's also a small playground for the little ones and an amazing view.
We're scheduled for 1:30 today (Wed.). Don't panic if we Klempners are late...we seem to be doing a lot of that lately. We'll get there eventually. Just start setting up your kite.
I highly recommend this outing to anyone! This was the cheapest outing we went on all summer, I think, as we already had kites, but it turned out to be one of the most fun for everyone! The kids had enormous smiles on their faces! The wind is so great, our kites practically jumped out of our hands, and the kids did a lot of teamwork and sharing. Our littlest one liked the little playground just fine and the bell is pretty. The view from the tip of the park is AMAZING, an almost wrap-around view of the Pacific.
