Orange County Great Park

Are people interested in a Thursday outing? A free morning at Orange County Great Park -- a ginormous piece of land in OC that is destined (in several years I believe) to become the next Central Park. We went two years ago and the kids had a blast on the balloon ride and now it appears there is also a free carousel ride as well as some rock adventures for the kids. Anyone interested? Let me know and let's pick a Thursday to go. I believe it's best to arrive by 10:00am since weather conditions affect the balloon ride and if it's too windy they don't let the balloon go up!

Kids Rock
Kids RockThursday–Friday: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.

Kids Rock is inspired by and focused around educating young guests about conservation ecology and the water cycle (condensation, precipitation, accumulation, evaporation). A group of misting shade structures, climbing rocks, “underground tunnels,” a seating area made from recycled runway concrete, and illustrated lakes and streams on recycled rubber flooring, come together to form an educationally unique and environmentally conscious space that is safe, fun, and relaxing.
