Judith's suggestions

Got this email from Judith C.

Saw a couple of ideas in the AAA magazine:

OC Fair is open July 15-Aug. 14. The fair charges entrance, but the centennial farm next door with the animals is free.

Chocolate exhibition in Annaheim: www.muzeo.org. Is a little pricey, may be fun, but we would probably have to bring our own kosher choc. version to interest the younger (and some older) kids.

Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach: until Aug. 30. It is a long drive to get there, and I think more fun for older kids than kids age 5 and under.

Anyone want to do organize one of these outings? The OC Fair would have to be next week, but the others could be done that following week. If you visited the chocolate exibit, maybe you could go home and have a fun baking or candymaking activity with the kids.

    And now a suggestion from my kids:

    They went on a hike with my kids this morning at Hopkins Regional Park in Redondo Beach. This was an easy hike, toddler-friendly, and cool.(The trails are shady and close to the beach.) The little ones were excited by a pond stocked with koi, turtles, and ducks.     I mentioned in another post about the first sunday of the month being free for bank of america card holders. This sunday is the first sunday of the month so I was checking out which museums are free and the muzeo that you mentioned is one of them.
